My 1st reaction was like: @#$%^&*(@#$%^&*
Why is Arshavin n Nasri, the 2 left sided players, r not playing?? Instead is Mr I-Look-Like-Vieira-But-Im-Not Diaby playing on the left. A few weeks ago, after seeing Gallas, Djourou, Clichy and Sagna getting injured, I knew Arsenal's defence will look like bunch of schoolboys.
When someone like Almunia, who never got called up to Spain's international squad b4, being number 1 in Arsenal, U wont wan to know who is the number 2 keeper at the club. N Silvestre, who caused Fergie to laugh until he choked on his chewing gum when he knew that Arsenal bought him, playing at the central of defence, against Arsenal's nemesis Mr Drogba, I knew Arsenal r sure to leak goals, question is how many.
So to win this match, Arsenal simply have to score more goals than wat they conceded. N when the 2 best creative players r not playing, hw can u score??!! Adebayor played alone upfront against the likes of Terry n Alex, w/out much support. Van Persie n Fabregas were well-marked by the chelsea players. The only way to score was thru speedy gonzalez- Walcott. N so he did.
Diaby n Denilson were supposed to help the defence, while pushing up when the opportunity arises. However, wat they did was to create more troubles 4 the defence. Diaby even tried to dribble out from his own penalty box, got robbed n Anelka hit the post. Denilson got tormented by Lampard throughout the game n had misplaced most of his passes.
Fabianski, playing on his birthday, got the press' attention after keeping clean sheet against Villareal. So he tot that he's very geng ady... tried to come out to get the ball all the time. Drogba nearly scored early on had it not been Gibb's last ditch saving kick. Still he did not learn his lesson n came out when Drogba was thru. Drogba passed him as if he wasnt there n BANG, there goes Arsenal's best hope 4 a trophy... Arshavin n Nasri came in too late to rily make any impact...
Next match vs Liverpool at Anfield. Only 3 days rest. And guess wat? we get to see Fabianski, Silvestre n co. play again. How cool is that?

keep the hopes up! Liverpool are without Gerrard, if they still play Lucas got chanace one, although I know it's tough!
Liverpool scored 4 against chelsea at stamford bridge. n Chelsea's defence shud b much better than Arsenal's. Lucas scored too.. lol..
haha our defence that day was kinda bad, we were without Terry and Cech just went cuckoo. But yea Fabianski is a major concern, although don't think Arsenal have much choice. eh btw, does that mean you didn't watch the match? Use live text? Got free streams online leh even if you don't have tv...
i watched the match... but clicked live text to check out the lineup cos i was a little late 4 kick-off.. shud have slept instead of watching...
