Trip to Spain~

Spain- the 3rd country i visited since i first arrive here in Europe. First impression- hot, hot, hot! Can u imagine that the weather there is so much warmer than in Malaysia?? 38 degrees celcius!! higher than the temperature of our bodies! My hats off to the spaniards who lived there for years!

This Spain trip of mine was rily eventful. I have not visited any police station yet in Germany. However, I broke that record twice in Spain! Once in Madrid and once in Barcelona. The reason: pickpockets! Despite being a tourist paradise, Spain ( Madrid n Barcelona in particular), is notoriously famous for pickpocket incidents. 2 of my frens were unfortunately victims of such cases. So the visit to the police stations were unavoidable.

Anyway, the trip to Spain was a good trip indeed. It seems that im somehow talented in learning spanish cos i can somehow say some spanish words to the locals n they somehow understood wat i was trying to say. haha!

Breakfast b4 trip:

Yup, dat was my breakfast on the day i depart 4 Spain. Roti canai! It was nearly half a year since i tasted my last Roti canai. To my total amusement, i got the chance to do so even b4 my trip bek to Msia. Imagine a german making roti canai. How cool is that? My german housemate, after being challenged by us Malaysians, decided to make roti canai 4 us. Eventhough the curry was not spicy enuf like the ones in Msia, overall, it was a job well done. Salute to him! Even us Malaysians in Germany cant make stg like dat.

Barcelona:

Nou Camp- the home ground of FC Barcelona

We visited the souvenir shop at the stadium as well. Plenty of jerseys n stuff relating to Barcelona were sold there. Barcelona-Brand chips as well.

The famous Flamenco Dance of Spain. The way the dancers move their feet is faster than Ronaldo dribbling. =)

My favourite site in Barcelona: the musical fountain.

Sagrada Familia - The famous building by Gaudi.

Barceloneta Beach - after a long day of walking, the best way to relax is to lie down on the beach n enjoy the sea breeze... shioknya...

The Catedral

Dunno the name of this building.. :b paiseh..

Arc de Triompf

Madrid:

Santiago Bernabeu- home ground of FC Real Madrid- Beckham was here b4.

Plaza Mayor

Impressive...

Tango-ing with the statue in front of the Bullfight Arena

Random post

Tirednya!!! juz came bek from Hope Games. An annual event hosted by our church. This year's game is like the Amazing Race around Stuttgart. We were asked diff questions regarding Stuttgart for example: How many starbucks in Stuttgart, where can one find a free toilet at the main railway station, where to find free mineral water etc. It was a good opportunity for me to get to know Stuttgart more, in case anyone of u wants to come to Stuttgart. We took train and bus rides all day long... tirednya!!

This is another 大牛 or 大鸟 that i have found in Germany. Since he is older than me, ppl in church now calls me 小牛. =.= From this pic, it seems like i dyed my hair... no such thing ok? im very 乖 one... it's the effect of the sun =)

There are many swans here in Germany. The brand "Schwan Stabilo" comes from Germany as well. Anyway, the swan is cute!

My 私生女 in Germany. Muahaha!

诗情画意 garden... nice place 4 paktoh! too bad no one wants to do that with me. sadnya... :(

post-exam syndrome

hmmm... exams r over... however, the feeling of total relief is not there.. weird rite? usually ppl will b quite relax n look 4ward to the holidays after the exam period. 4 me, it seems like life has no more meaning d... haha..

B4 exam, life has been stressful 4 me. Whenever i reach home from uni, the 1st tot dat crosses my mind would be: wat to study first? is there any projects or assignments that r needed to be done? Have i did this or that? etc. Now, w/out having to touch my book since it's the holidays, my 1st tot when i reach home will be: ermmm.... wat shud i do huh?" haha...

Many ppl im sure will tell me: hey, dun waste ur time at home la, go somewhere n travel! of cos i will do that la.. My next destination would be Metzingen- the shopping paradise to get some souvenirs.Next stop would then be Spain, namely Barcelona n Madrid. After coming bek from Spain there will b a friendly game between VFB Stuttgart and Arsenal here in Stuttgart. Will try to go 4 it if possible. In August i will probably plan a trip to either Berlin, Hamburg or Munich, or maybe the trios! If my urge to get a new Arsenal jersey is uncontainable, UK here i come!

So actually my time staying at home is less than the time that i will be spending on travelling. That will only mean one thing ----- im getting pokkai soon. =)

Bye bye la, exams~

Love - the most important aspect in life

Love. What is love? If im not sure what's the definition of love, why can i claim it as the most important aspect in our lives? A simple word made out of 4 alphabets, yet it is so hard to be defined.

The bible describes love as follows:

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protect, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.

So many criterias to be fulfilled right? not really. A simple example where love is always evident is the love of a mother to a child. Take this example and compare it with the descriptions above. Doesn't it match wonderfully? A child w/out a mother's love since birth would not be able to survive. So i think it would be fair to say that w/out love, there won't be life. That explains why love is the most important element in our lives.

We, humans are created to be able to love and receive love. Isnt it great, when one can feel the love in a family, in a relationship, with friends, etc? Isnt it great to be loved and cared? Still remember that awesome feeling, when our mothers cook our fav meal after we r bek from a hectic school day? Still remember that tremendous feeling, when our fathers give us a pat on our head, telling us what a good job we have done? Doesn't our heart skip a bit, when our loved ones grab our hands and tell us how important we are to them? or how touched we are, when our friends give us a big hug after been apart for quite some time?

My conclusion: go out and love~, be it love for our parents, siblings, friends, lovers, animals, strangers or even our enemies. There's nothing to be afraid of, we are equipped to do so... just let the cycle of love goes on and on....
