New Kits for Big Four

Some photos regarding the new kits for the next season has been reported to be leaked. Hopefully they will NOT be the real kits for next season, or else my eyes will suffer... (except Liverpool)

Arsenal are keeping their current home shirt for the next campaign, but the garish canary yellow away has apparently been dumped in favour of a shade green of green that is bound to clash with the referee’s shirt. The last time the Gunners wore green on their travels was the 1982/93 season, when they finished 10th and got knocked out of both domestic cups at the semi-final stage, by Manchester Utd. Please dun wear it Arsenal!!!

Only Liverpool's away kit looks wearable. A good combination of black, gold n red.

My 1st thought when i saw this pic: What the heck??!! Got chest pads summore!! Probably Chelsea's players r too small in size. A little bit of "armour" is needed to scare their opponents... lol...

This Man Utd kit looks errrr.... ok lah... a bit like school uniform... if the red colour were to b changed to blue, looks a bit like sailormoon's outfit... 我代替红魔来惩罚你!lol..

Like 寿衣...zzz...

"Damned" Utd are running out of steam, last year was their pinnacle and when one has reached the ultimate summit the only path they can take is to go down.

Arsenal? You kidding me? Waning power in the EPL already la, they have definitely seen better times!

Right now I admit the in form team in EPL are Liverpool, but we will bounce back! Season's not over yet!!!

That's if you don't understand what bad luck is, what injuries mean and how bad luck and injuries can affect a team.

Btw, though I'm with Arsenal, but I do hope Chelsea can do better.

lol if you want to attribute the excuse for every loss/draw or bad referee decisions to bad luck then you might as well not play in the EPL anymore. Gameplay doesn't matter if you can't convert the chances into goals and win the game, at the end of the day the end justifies the means. In 10 years time no one is going to remember how beautiful your playing style is but will be concerned with the honours you've won, that's the cold hard truth. Same goes with Chelsea, Guus is playing nice attacking football and we dominated the Tottenham match but we still lose and I accept that, sure I lament about it but I don't blame it on luck. We didn't manage to convert so be it, hence we were punished by Spurs.

Injuries I accept, but hell which team don't have injury problems? no subs to fill in the regulars' spots is almost always largely due to the fact the team's 板凳实力不够雄厚. as such i don't see any reason why you can blame others.

hey kaya, hw u noe dat Man Utd has past its prime/summit? They r currently suffering from a blip, which every team has suffered b4, but it is still not sure whether this is the "going dwn" part 4 them or not. Losing 2 games n u brand them as a team going dwn is certainly a big statement.

Yes, no doubt that the current Arsenal has lost its "invincibility" compared to the Arsenal a couple of years ago. But hey, they r on the rise again. And u wont know what these young kids might do in the future. Dun look down on them!

As to injuries, of cos every club r prone to them. But imagine Terry, Lampard, Drogba, Cech, and other main stream players of Chelsea r all injured at the same time. (Arsenal did have Fabregas, Walcott, Rosicky, Adebayor, Eduardo injured at the same time), do u still tink Chelsea can play as well as they do now? even with their very good players on the bench? (i admit man u n chelsea have better bench players). The fluidity of play will surely be lost since these players seldom play together in the league. And come on, there wont b a like for like replacement for a 1st team player on the bench. Even if there is, this player will sure leave the club soon as he wont want to b always on the bench. Of cos a good bench of players can help to ease the injury crisis, but fully replacing an injured 1st team player is impossible. I tink it is fair to say that if Arsenal were to have less injuries, their position shud be better than wat it is today. Compared to Arsenal, Man U n Chelsea have had less injuries which is an advantage to them. Of cos, injuries r not the only cause of Arsenal's lousy position today. The league table is fair.

haha i dunno, but for a team which has held the record of having the longest consecutive run without conceding a goal in the premier league, only to be undone by the Reds at Old Trafford with 4 goals and then subsequently 2 goals by the Cottagers is not really something I'd call a mere blip. ;)

Of course by going down I do not mean they are withering away or has past their prime, but rather they are not likely to emulate the success they had last season, especially if they fail to capture the European Double this season. Having said that, I am waiting in eager anticipation to see how well they perform when they take on Villa at Old Trafford this Saturday, a team which were thrashed 5-0 by Liverpool last week. Let's see whether they can dish out the same amount of damage to a demoralised team!

Yea I recognise the fact Arsenal has lots of potential with the young players, but also you have to bear in mind whether the club is able to retain them in the squad and allow them to develop their potential is also an uncertainty we need to ponder about. Remember Hleb and Flamini!!! Otherwise going on and on about promising talents without delivering the results and living up to expectations is just going to be nothing but a self-deluding dream lol.

Haha fair enough, I accept the injury argument, although I must say they have been kinda crappy for quite a while now.

Duh,
it's always a probability game down the field.
good squad makes good probability, while good probability doesn't promise a sure win.

a series of downturn happens here and there in life.

ppl do remember how chelsea buy all the so called glories and honours with petroleum (and tis is purely affected by LUCKS). Else, chelsea probably is fighting in League Championship right now. :P

kaya said...

^^^^ LMAO how is the discovery of petroleum pure luck? And even assuming so how does that have to do with football? Lots of factors are involved in winning a game buddy, just because one team is better financed does not mean they will definitely win the league. Look at Man City, they are richer than most clubs in the EPL and look at which position they are occupying at the League. Chelsea in the League Championship? In your dreams dude. Even before Roman came in they were already one of the established top 5 teams in EPL for some time then. Grow up instead of talking nonsense, anonymous coward.

Anonymous said...

i meant Roman picked Chelsea is purely a luck. and the reason he picked was Chelsea so damn CHEAP tat time. Do u remember Chelsea was nearly bankrupt before he came? And i think most ppl didnt agree chelsea was a wat 'top 5' team at that time but obviously this doesnt include chelsea fans.

You just contradicted yourself there and clearly showed that you are just a person with a lot of hot air and have not the slightest idea of what you're on about. If Chelsea were cheap for purchase back then, they would not have been at the point of bankruptcy as once you gain ownership of the club you will also need to assume the debts and liabilities of the club. Point of insolvency would indicate that they are in fact very expensive since there are a lot of debts to be met and Roman would need to fork out a huge sum of money to satisfy those claims by the creditors. I don't deny that Chelsea were struggling financially then, but they were not so screwed to the point of going into administration. Had they been similar to Leeds United I'd have grave doubts Roman would have purchase them.

Roman didn't pick Chelsea by luck, he is a shrewd businessman and he saw the potential in them and with that investment look where they are right now in the league tables. Chelsea are not one of the top 5 teams? Do check the Premier League results and tell me ever since Ruud Gulit's appointment as manager (roughly the time when Wenger came in to Arsenal as well) how many times have Chelsea been out of the top 5? I can tell you that right now, a mere three times. And during those times they were at the 6th position. They have clearly been an excellent team for more than a decade and I don't see how you can dispute my classification of Chelsea as a top 5 team and claim it is due to my bias as a Chelsea fan. Unlike you who have a tendency to make arbitrary claims, when it comes to proper arguments I make them based on cold hard facts.

You've got a lot to learn when it comes to football and structuring proper arguments buddy. Verpiß dich, du Arschloch.
