Actually, i still cant manage to find any cockroaches in Germany. Probably they r scared of the weather here. cold cold cold...
The "cockroaches" that i mentioned are actually us Malaysian students who are living abroad. Cockroaches are notorious for their ability to survive despite tough conditions. Back in Msia, it's rily troublesome to kill a cockroach. No matter how many times u whack it, it still moves!!! Taken from Soon Lee's blog: A cockroach can live up to 9 days w/out its head!! No wonder ppl say u r a 打不死的蟑螂 when referring to guys who r persistent in their effort to win a gal's heart.
So y do i say dat we msian students abroad r like roaches? well, imagine having to listen to lectures in a foreign language, learning things that u haven seen b4 but are easy to the germans, having to sit for exams in german, and handing up assignments that u cant imagine that u have to do it all by urself. By the way, im not trying to brag or boast about how great i am or wad. But it's pretty cool that malaysian students can do many things.
I was given an assignment to construct a bearing-testing maschine. U might ask wat on earth is that stuff.. to b frank, i was asking the same question as well. Despite not knowing what that thing is, through help of frens and lecturer, i still manage to draw and hand up my drawing which looks pretty satisfying... (SPM and A-levels never taught me how to draw technically.)
Besides that, we will have every fortnight a so-called lab test. It's actually a test to evaluate wat we have prepared for the upcoming lab experiment. Many germans failed that. We malaysians so far all pass. strange huh?
This is the semangat of the cockroaches! We take watever that are thrown on us. Whack us, and we still move!
Hopefully i still can say this after my exam at the end of my sem. :b

The day when it started to snow...
This post can be a bit lame, cos im not in a really good mood. yup, it has started snowing... although it was only 4 a short while, but hey, outside look really white... i tried to go out w/out wearing long pants, just shorts on... grrrr.... *shiver*.... My housemate say i better stay indoor, cos ppl might think im crazy... haha.. who cares... the cold was unbearable... my housemate wanted to start a snowballfight. He was all wrapped up in jacket and long sweatpants while i was practically wearing only outfits that are common in Malaysia: T-shirt + shorts. wat to do? cabut lari la!!
Reason 4 foul mood = Arsenal F.C.
Chelsea 0-0 Newcastle
Liverpool 0-0 Fulham
Aston Villa 0-0 Man utd
If u think that Man City vs Arsenal would have the same scoreline as well, u're wrong!!!
Man City 3-0 Arsenal!!!
Which team on earth can still win the premier league title after losing to Hull City, Stoke, Fulham and Man City? Only Arsene Wenger thinks that his team can. Watching Arsenal play was always pleasing in the eye. Attack non-stop, dun defend at all... But lately, the fluency of play has gone, no more goals scored, backline leak goals more than Tottenham Hotspurs(zzzz...)in recent games. The feeling of losing is bad, and gets worse when we lose to teams who had just been promoted. ARRGGHHH!!!!
Now, the captain has been stripped of his post 4 critising his own team, our main striker adebayor is injured, our speedy Walcott is out for 3 months... our only hope of silverware: Carling cup.
Life 4 Arsenal can't be any worse than this. It really irks me to see Jia Jin every week with his sickening smirk on his face. "what happened to your Arsenal, lost again? look how good Man Utd are playing" =.=!!!!
At least it's snowing now... christmas is coming as well... i shud cheer up...

Never judge a book by its cover...
This is a clip of "Britain's got talent". Paul potts, a mobile phone salesman with ordinary looks, stunned the crowd and judges. The judges looked uninterested when he 1st appear on stage, but then when Paul began to sing,....
Never ever look down on ppl whom u think is inferior to you!
And this 6 year old girl, she can sing better than me! :b

German food in Malaysia!
A hearty meal with the right company in the right place is always memorable and can draw customers back.
The Bavarian Bierhaus is one such place.
The good food that come in generous portions make dining here enjoyable.
The German outlet now has regulars coming in to enjoy the German beer and meaty meals.
Due to the good response, it has opened a branch at the Wisma UOA II in Kuala Lumpur.
Generous portion: The Mixed Sausage Platter
Although adopting the same concept of excellent food and drinks, this outlet exudes a slightly different ambience.
Still cosy with German wall hangings, the new place has a bit more colour with the choice of sofas and brighter lights. Like the other outlet, it also opens out to the outdoors.
Restaurant manager Catherine Soo said the outlet served the same food as the one at The Curve in Petaling Jaya but it also has some new offerings on its menu.
“Here we have slightly different customers from the other outlet as there are more offices and walk-in customers from the nearby Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre,” she said.
The all-time favourites are still topping the charts and pork knuckles is one example.
There are a few types to choose from and new at this outlet are the Crispy Knuckle with Pineapple Gravy and the Crispy Knuckle with Thyme Infusion.
While the former comes with potatoes served with German mustard, the latter comes with roasted Parisienne Potatoes, German mustard and Red Wine cherry sauce.
Soo said part of the knuckle preparation was about boiling them for about three hours before they were prepared upon order.
A must-try: The fresh and aromatic pretzels.
The boiling tenderises the meat to a point where the meat easily separates from the bones while eating.
“The best part about the knuckle dish is the crispiness. Listen to the fresh crisp when you run your knife through it,” she said as she cut a portion of meat from the knuckle.
Each knuckle can weigh between 900g and 1.2kg and an average of 25 pieces are prepared in a day. However, over the weekend it is increased to 50 pieces.
Pork lovers’ must-try at the outlet is also the Pork Ribs, which is another hearty meal like the knuckles.
Customers can opt to order half the portion. This dish, garnished with slices of juicy pineapples, gets better with each bite.
Those who like sausages can try the Mixed Sausage Platter or the Foot Long Sausage.
The Pork Escalope is another option at this outlet. The meat is charred with Hickory Pepper and served with Mashed Potato, Sauteed Zucchini and Honey Mustard Dressing.
The oulet also serves excellent Pretzels.
The pretzels are fresh and aromatic.
The pretzels can also be eaten with Odatza, a savoury dip made from soft cheese, garlic, cream and pepper.
The outlet also has an interesting snack menu to go with its crisp and smooth Paulaner beers.
Some of these are Chilled Melon with Honey Cured Ham, Sauteed Tiger Shrimp with bacon, garlic, chilli and parsley and Boursin cheese crackers, pine nuts and tapanade.
It also has an interesting offer of set lunches at RM19++. It comes with a main course, soup of the day, iced-lemon tea or a soft drink.

Frens in Msia, if got time n money(im sure it will b quite expensive), do try some german food available at this outlet, especially the sausages!!
Food that i eat until sien ady is being treated like delicacies in Msia. Whereas food like nasi lemak or bak kut teh which are common in Msia are treated like imperial dishes here in Germany.... zzz...

Got this from one of the bulletins @ frenster. Hmmm.... is this rily true? By asking ppl who r currently in a relationship or seeking one, the answer shud be obvious. However, the last point: loving someone has no reason at all. Is there no reason at all? Is it true that we humans are prone to being CRAZY or MADLY in love? No logical explaination at all to this so called LOVE feeling?
Dunno la... i leave this topic open... =)
