project vs exam

Depart from house when the sky is still dark, return home after the sun sets. Well, dats my routine 4 the past few weeks. 4th sem is indeed scary. Im still surviving, dun worry.

Besides this project, we got another construction project. Create a torchlight which operates without battery. Means using chemical energy from our bodies. u all know la, those torchlights which produces light when we shake it or squeeze it. Our task is to cr8 something similar which is not on the market. Not easy.

Having so many projects means we have very less free time compared to previous semesters. Whenever there's a free period, we will use it to do our project, unlike last time when we can use the free time to go drink coffee or go bek home n sleep. But thank God many projects = less exam. But isit a good thing? I dunno...

To u know who u r, having exams can be rily frustrating n tiring. But having lotsa projects has the same effect as well. U do ur exam, I do my project, we both gambateh ba! Im sure we can do it! n sleep more ya... less sleep = bigger eyebags. =)

Start of new sem

Oh yeah, the title says it all. My 4th semester, one of the busiest semester in Mechanical engineering in Esslingen. Many group projects and many 7.30 am lectures. 7.30 am lectures are 4 me the greatest challenge. Imagine going to bed late, have to wake up at 6.30 am, the outside temperature is less than 10 degrees Celsius, my warm n cosy blanket 25 Degrees, the sun still nowhere to be seen, etc etc... I tell u, the temptation to remain in bed n sleep 4 another hour can be irresistible at times!

Oh well, hope I can survive this new semester though. Needs lotsa strength n stamina since classes start from 7.30 to 5-6pm. *yawn*

Just got the topic 4 our group project. Testing of the wings of an aircraft (aerodynamics). The part is circled in red as shown below:

But of cos we are not doing tests on Boeing or Airbus (we r not experts yet), just some small jet that the students in the university have built together with some companies. Anyway, it shud be something interesting. Too bad that we dint managed to get our 1st choice project: testing of carbon dioxide as cooling agent in the large hadron collider in CERN, switzerland. That's the world's largest particle accelerator! Anyway, I shud be satisfied with wat i got. No complains!

Attended the wedding of my flatmate last saturday. Im rily happy to see him getting married. From the moment the bride entered the church, he cant stop shedding tears of joy! I dunno if I would do the same in future. It was so touching. I was his "best man" that day, responsible for leading the bridal march with a candle in my hand to light the remaining candles on the altar. I also sang on the stage at night during the wedding dinner. 月亮代表我的心， since it was also mid-autumn festival dat day.

update update

Still in holiday mode, my blog as well. So sorry 4 the late update.

Weather in Germany is getting colder as autumn is slowly arriving. That means my holiday is gonna come to an end soon. awhhh... sad... I have also started working this week after taking a few weeks off 4 holidays. No choice, gotta earn back those spent money. =(

Have to say that im very satisfied with my last semester. Despite spending more time doing the tutor job and also working part time, my results were fine. Passed all subjects. Eventhough not all with flying colours, but im still satisfied with it. Thank God 4 that~! Hope to do even better next sem.

It has been a year since I last tried nasi lemak, bak kut teh, laksa, etc etc. Whenever I view my fren's blogs (those who went bek to Msia in summer), my tummy will start to growl. "Another 6 months to go", I tell myself... Another 6 months....

Venice trip

Im finally bek at home in Esslingen after a long 2 weeks trip in Italy. We stayed in a caravan, ate lotsa pizzas, became tanned and killed lotsa mosquitoes (my 1st time encountering mosquitoes in europe). Overall, it was a totally different experience compared to my previous trips. This trip was all about relaxing, not rushing around to get glimpses of as many cities as possible.


We travelled to Venice all the way from Stuttgart. In total around 850km crossing switzerland as well. This was the pic taken in Switzerland near Zurich. Beautiful scenery.

Wanted to do this 4 a long time... but too bad that im not gifted in music... im only good at posing.... oh well, better than nothing, right?

Rain pouring down outside... makes me wanna drift away into dreamland... but I cant... Venice is waiting...

Wedding in Germany~!

Straightaway after 2 weeks of hectic exams, the wedding bells came ringing. Steffen, our church leader of Hope Stuttgart, finally marries Ulli from Hope Berlin after years of relationship. Their wedding is my first wedding that I get to witness here in Germany. There are lotsa differences between an asian wedding and a western one. But both are sweet and romantic. (Too bad that there was no Yamseng...)

The wedding couple! German loves outdoors, so their wedding have to be outdoors as well, stg that we Malaysians will never do due to the hot weather. The wedding took place at a weinberg (wine hill), where the grape plantations are. The garden there was simply lovely with all sorts of flowers blooming.

Believe it or not, the wedding was made and not bought from some cake shop. Stephanie-jie rily is talented in making stuff like dis.

People must be wondering what are they doing with electrical screw driver during their wedding dinner. Well, their wedding present was inside the heart shape container and they must screw open the container to get their pressie. Interesting huh...

Exam n summer

Exam dis week, yet I still got time to blog. haha...

Hope I can do well dis time, although im not so sure about it. Anyway, after exam, I wont be going back to Msia like wat I did last year. Plan to work n travel around in summer. Any suggestions? Feel like going 4 skiing but it's summer! T.T

That means I must wait for at least another semester b4 I can get my hands on Roti Canai, Nasi Lemak, Bak Kut Teh n Laksa n etc... awwhhhh.... *hungry hungry* So to those who r going bek in summer, dun miss the opportunity to enjoy those marvellous food in Msia.

It also means that I cant join any of the gatherings held in Msia. And dunno why, Ms Organiser (Pei Wen) always plan nice trips n gatherings when im NOT around. This time having gathering in KL summore! *feel neglected* sobs... U guys have fun lar... n take pics n upload in fb.
